These options are not toxin-free. Baby wipes are notoriously difficult to formulate “clean” because you have a water-based solution and a large surface area for exposure. This means that preservatives have to be used in order to stave off bacteria and fungus. There are limited organic options for preservation at this level – ethanol being the most reliable but not terribly appropriate for baby skin. We recommend the above options as our current “best” options. Using a wipe solution and reusable or dry wipes is likely the best option. However if those are not available or feasible to you, here are some “lower-tox” options.
